Thirteenth foundation anniversary celebrations at NTU Audio Visual Education Center’s theater, performing the play The Legend of the White Snake（白蛇傳說）. Hsin Hsing Ku Puppet Show Troupe’s performer Zhong Renbi（鍾任壁）demonstrated the techniques of playing a Sheng (main male role) character and a Dan (main female role) character of Ge-style（閣派）glove puppetry. The film Being Ceased: The Search for the Musicians of Glove Puppetry（斷曲—走尋布袋戲後場老樂師）was also screened outdoors, the film was nominated for Best Documentary at the 1998 Taipei Film Festival（1998臺北電影節紀錄片類）.

Premiere of the documentary film Looking for the Forgotten Artists: Jiang Simei（走尋布袋戲老藝師—江賜美）co-produced by Seden Foundation, Classical Glove Puppetry Appreciation Club, and Firefly Image Company（螢火蟲映像體）. The film received a local film award and was invited to participate in the 1998 Singapore International Film Festival.
